Plan to squeeze a tower onto a slender Gold Coast block
The architect of a luxurious condominium advanced proposed for the Gold Coast has needed to deal with the very fact the narrowest facet of the block fronts the seaside.
The consequence, now being thought of by Gold Coast Metropolis Council, is a 37-storey tower with just one unit on every ground and a stacker unit for residents’ vehicles.
A 37-storey condominium advanced proposed for a slender block in Broadbeach.
Brisbane agency DKO Structure sought to profit from the slender 15-metre seaside frontage; therefore the tower at 118 Previous Burleigh Highway has its longest sides going through “up and down” the Gold Coast, with every unit-floor having balconies focussed on the seaside.
The thin tower is proposed for the slender Broadbeach block between Previous Burleigh Highway and Broadbeach Boulevard with the broadest facet alongside Australia Avenue. If accredited, it might host 32 three-bedroom items and one four-bedroom penthouse.
The mission for Melbourne agency, Little Tasks, would stand taller than its neighbours: Ocean Royale to the north, Boulevard Tower to the east, and Eclipse Broadbeach to the south, that are all between 16-21 storeys.
“The constructing is conceptualised as a tripartite construction; a bit of paradise suspended between the context of sand and sea, and the sky which floats above within the form of a tower,” reads the corporate’s publicity materials.
Turning its facet to the seaside at Broadbeach is that this proposed 37-storey luxurious condominium advanced designed by DKO Structure.
“The second idea attracts on a robust modernist language and custom, which is traditionally associated to a robust European, and Italian, architectural custom, and in addition carefully linked to a way of classical and timeless proportions and architectural detailing and language.
“The Italian summer season; the concepts of leisure, inspiration and escape.”
